PSPAtari: Atari 800/130/5200 Emulator for PSP v1.0.6

Hi All,

Here is a new version of PSPAtari the emulator of Atari 800, 800XL, 130XE and 5200 series.

For those who haven't seen previous versions, Atari800 is an emulator for the 800, 800XL, 130XE and 5200 models of the Atari personal computer. It can be used on console, FrameBuffer or X11.

PSPATARI is a port on PSP of the version 2.0.2 (April 08 2006) of Atari800 from Petr Stehlik.

What's new in version 1.0.6 :

- Multiple keyboard mapping feature (Thanks to Pou-chan) :
You can now toggle between 3 different keyboard mapping using
LTrigger and RTrigger keys
- Add help menu
- New background image
- Bug fix in Rom file requester
- Bug fix in screenshots
- Bug fix in keyboard handler

How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.

Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,
read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.

S: For those who wonder how to use 5200 Roms :

You have to load them using the original atari800 emulator menu (the white "Atari800 menu" option in the emulator window

).

Then select "Cartridge management" then "Insert cartridge" and specify your disk image file, then choose the cartridge type 5200, and go back to the emulator using LTrigger.

Nice to see work on this system. Things I've noticed but never got around to mentioning.

Screenshots are ugly (I think you just fixed this right?)

D-pad sticks when in D-pad mode. A good example would be say in miner 2049'er. If your pressing right and press fire (jump) while still holding right your character will jump and continue right but then the next time you press jump the button press is not registered.

Sound still could use some work. Listen to the opening music in Pac-man or Clowns & Balloons.

Hi,

First of all, thanks for your comment. You're right i've just fixed the smooth rendering, it will be part of the a next release.

I will have a look on your issue with miner 2049, and see if we can do something for the sound,
