GP2X-2600: Atari 2600 emulator for GP2X v1.0.4

Hi All,

Stella is on of the best emulator of Atari 2600 game console, running on many different systems, such as Linux, Solaris, Windows, MacOS/X, WinCE, OS/2, GP2X.

It has been written initially by Bradford Mott, see Stella site for details.

GP2X-2600 is a port on GP2X of my previous port to PSP.
My PSP version is based on the work of Aenea who was the first to port Stella to PSP.

What's new this version :

- Display and save thumbnail images for each save state
- New speed limiter function
- Add option to display fps rate
- Option to prevent the blue led to be displayed when
L or R are pressed
- Add a simple intro splash screen
- Support iso8859-1 fonts in print text functions
(might be useful to translate menus in german, french ...)
- Bug fix and code cleaning

How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.

Always great zx81, the only coder really active in the gp2x scene.
I hope wich very soon i can see the AMSTRAD emu better in the speed, repeat, with tv out the emu work perfect full speed to 200 MHZ, but when use in the gp2x, is slow, however thank you.

Hi zx-81,

Great to see someone supporting the GP2X and I have been a fan of your work on the PSP so nice to see you supporting the other handhelds

One little thing, is there any chance of a GP2x P200 compatible version of Stella? When I run it on a P200 I get a high pitched whine and it locks up?

If you need someone to beta test a P200 version then Im offering

Great, well if you want to email it over when you have done it I will give it a go for you. Not found the problem on any other of your emulators (trying to fill a 16gb card and with your work as a base its proving quite easy

)
