First of all, happy father's day to all dad's
Here is a new version of PSPWrite the text editor for PSP
It permits to edit even huge text file, in both dos and unix mode, using iso8859-1 (8bits) characters encoding. All iso8859-1 characters are present in the "Danzeff like" virtual keyboard.
The IR keyboard support is based on the work of Harald Fielker.
It has been developed on linux for Firmware 1.5 and 3.90-m33, and for the IR keyboard
part it has been tested using a Targus Universal IR Wireless keyboard.
What's new then in 1.0.5 ?
- New graphics based on hackePeter work
- Add eboot's music
- The virtual keyboard is now usable in the file requester menu
- Fix IR keyboard issue with fw >= 3.80 for PSP FAT
- Reduce default PSP clock speed (133 Mhz is good enough to write text)
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,
read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.

Thanks! I hadn't done much testing with PSPWrite since I updated and it didn't work the one time I did and thought it could be that issue.
This could make summer quarter go much more smoothly, and this is still one of the best homebrew applications for me.
I just want to thank you for this excellent program. It was exactly what I was looking for and I am immensely impressed with the simple but functional layout. Good job.
It's working great with my Palm Universal Wireless Keyboard. If anyone else is considering using this keyboard, you will want to take the "Palm.ini" file from piKey 0.4 and place it in the "keymap" folder of pspwrite. Then edit "pspirkeyb.ini" with the appropriate changes (map = 'Palm.ini', keyboard = 20). Also make sure piKey is disabled before running this program as pspwrite will hang otherwise.
Thank you for this awesome app! The only problem I've had with it is if a file is open, and you exit to the xmb, it hangs. I'll try to fix it.
can you make a keyboard just like the default keyboard of the psp when you type the web page address, for example....
