I've made a javascript keyboard (using severals ones i've found on the web). Here is a demo : psp web keyboard It is very usefull for me to make google search, or to enter URL in a more friendly manner You can unzip the archive on your memory stick and then add a bookmark to the location such as file:/psp/qwerty/index.html Here is the zip file : qwerty.zip Enjoy ! Not sure what I"m doing wrong here but I saved the file to my memory stick, set the bookmark link & go to the link in the browser fine. Type url in address portion at top of keyboard but then can't get it to go to the web address. If I press 'x' it brings me to the standard sony text input screen, 'start' or enter out of that just brings me back to the keyboard. This thing is a great idea if I can get it to work correctly. Please let me know what step I'm missing. Thanks.
You have to press each key of the keyboard, and the javascript stuff will enter the letter/digit in the adress bar,
Zx I am horrible with technology. Can you tell me step by step how exactly to open my browser with the new keyboard. I have saved it to the memory stick. When I go to the browser I dont have an option to open any files.
Miral Hi,
You have to enter a url such as this one : file:/psp/qwerty/index.html If you have put your keyboard in psp/qwerty/ directory. Then after entering the url, then you save it as your homepage or you can add it in bookmarks using sony web browser menu. Zx Hey, that was interesting,
This looks like a real good virtual keyboard, would it work on a touch screen monitor... Thanks for writing, most people don't bother. Good idea Thank's for this. Just time for learn QWERTY keyboard, when you are not English, it's more difficult
