Saturday, November 1. 2008PSPCAP32: Amstrad CPC Emulator for PSP v1.4.4Hi All, Here a new (final?) version of PSPCAP32 the CPC Emulator for PSP. For those who haven't seen previous versions, Caprice32 is one of the best emulator of the Amstrad CPC home computer series running on Windows and Unix, written by Ulrich Doewich. This emulator faithfully imitates the CPC464, CPC664, and CPC6128 models (see caprice32 project) What's new in version 1.4.4 : - Cheat support ! - Text editor to modify the global cheat.txt file - Memory monitoring engine to find your own cheat code ! - Text editor to write your own comments on games - Display first comment line while browsing game files - Finally fix issue with "Home -> Exit" ! - Add option to disable auto fire in settings menu - Improve global emulation speed - Improve file requester with virtual keyboard to choose sequentially rom files beginning with a given letter - Zip rom files are now decompressed in memory (much faster !) - Tested on FW-5.0-m33 How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file. Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license, read COPYING.txt file for more information about it. pspcap32-v1.4.4-fw5x.zip pspcap32-v1.4.4-fw15.zip pspcap32-v1.4.4-src.zip Thanks to Gryzor you can find here a set of snapshots in snz format. Glad to see a new update and thank you. I have just tried this on my PSP slim (4.00CFW) and I get a black screen when loading snapshots or disks but the in game sound can be heard.
Is it supposed to work on CFW 4.00? Regards Pete I'm not sure if I've mentioned such before, but would it be possible, by any chance, to emulate Symbiface, in any way? I've run SymbOS on occasion, and it's kinda tedious swapping between floppies to run different things.
It might only be emulated in WinAPE, however, and need quite a few code changes... but it's just a quick little suggestion I'd thought of early in the morning. Hi Zx
I Having A Problem With The Amstrad Emulator Im Running The New Fireware Version Of 5.5 Which Has Just Come Out I Think. I Download The fw5x Version Unzip It And Follow The Instructions When I Come To Run It, It Opens On My PSP But Then Says Its Corrupt. Any Idears Hi,
You need to install a custom fw (if you have old PSP) or to use the HEN (homebrew enabler). See tutorials on qj.net or dcemu.co.uk, Cheers, Zx Add Comment
