After days of intensive work on this emulator, i have to say that i've tried many things, and unfortunatelly none give better speed results. It seems that i've reached the limit of what i can do on this emulator (from speed point of view). This version doesn't work for +2.0 FW ! What's new in version 1.2.2 : - Rewrite some part of the Gfx code (up to 5% faster) - Bug fix and code cleaning How to use it ? Have a look to the README.txt file ! One binary version for 1.5 FW and sources are included in the zip archive. This package is under GPL Copyright, read COPYING file for more information about it. pspvba-v1.2.2.zip Enjoy, Zx. hi whats up,
my name is claudio and i´m from germany. ok. there exist the pokemon editions (in germany it´s called "feuerrot, in england maybe fire red, i don´t know but it´s the newest that released) these edition uses 128kb saves and cause of that it dont work on the emu. now i wanted to ask you if you maybe can make a edition for these saves. hi Claudio,
You can set the option to enable the save stuff in the settings menu (and i suppose it will work ...) Zx. nice work zx-81 your emulator's rule !!! only thing i can think of is instead of trying to work on the speed since you said that you've reach your limit on that. try working on the sound aspect of the emulator. thanks again for the great release
Well I have a question
why the 1.1.0 version have a better sound than this one? since when you begin working with the media engine.. I wonder if media engine is better than others.. however GREAT work.. hoping that you don't give up Media engine permits to win up to 20% cpu speed. As i said, i can release a version with a better sound, but we will loose speed.
Zx. zx i want to point one thing to ya when i played shone jump one piece thingy on your emulator hich orks very good a bit slow but playable i have noticed that hen i dont move game speeds up to 170% at 8 fps and when i push a button it slows don to 120 -130% so i thought that you might work on improving this thingy couse it eats up to 40% speed
well one more thing you said some weeks ago that you ont be able to fully emulate gba couse psp is just 333 mhz i tired vba on 233 cpu laptop and with turbo on it worked at 50 fp 120% speed so.... i belive you can do IT btw ths for all the realeses basicly you rock, many people are complaning but lol you are doing it for free and your resaluts are amazing so fuck them I cant actually use this emulator, never have and to be quite honest probably wont because im more of a "psp games only" guy but i gotta say Zx you've done one hell of a job. Prehaps its not "full-speed" just yet and maybe it wont be in the near future but damn your still going at it and i admire the never give up attitude.
Ignore all those that constantly moan and groan about the speed being slow and what not, its just difficult for them to understand the amount of work that has to be done. Keep up the good work my friend, who knows what the future holds . Add Comment
